I have been running my own (sometimes imperfect) scripts for a while now and even though people say that starting to mine immediately on a fresh f2p account or training agility for over one hour is suicide I have had no issues so far. This is a bit of a tech blog about the ToA release and the stability issues the client has been having, feel free to skip it if that isn't your thing.Īfter the release of ToA on Aug 24 we saw a large number of reports from users about the client destabilizing in ToA, either crashing, or running with low FPS. So, with all the big data analysis and whatever else all hyped up right now I think if your bot has a decent amount of entropy added to it the risk of bans is greatly reduced.Īgain we have no way of knowing and a lot of what I say is personal anecdotal evidence. In my opinion most scripts are just way too perfect at what they do, as an example, we as humans are (comparatively) shite at perfectly clicking every dirty herb in the inventory following a pattern, a good bot would add misclicks and multiple pattern variations and mutations, sometimes even depositing still dirty herbs, having short and longs AFK every so often etc. With this in mind good premium scripts should offer customization options, such as little random AFK's simulators and delay / tiredness control so that you can personalize them to be more unique but will likely never be as safe as a strong private script that has only a couple of users during its lifetime. These scripts are far less likely to just faceplant into a wall for two hours straight, repeating the same button presses over and over, something which is likely instantly picked up by a "loop" detection system. When you have people competing they tend to offer better products, as they need to outperform the competition.

The second way that makes private scripts more secure is the same thing that makes premium scripts better, money.

One way of finding a behaviour could be when someone suicide bans, and a manual ban is applied, their metadata is tagged as a bot and the system tries to find other profiles that behave identically. In my opinion the more complex detection is some form of profiling, they have too much data to parse your mouse and camera position every 50 ms even though they can receive it, so they just try to cross reference players. Other communities such as Dreambot have some prominent members almost discard it as relevant and only as enticement for buyers (Articron and dQw4w9WgXcQ for sure, but I can't really find a quote right now). Some people still cling to action anti-bans like TriBots abc2 where it will "randomly" alt tab, move the camera, mouse and click on game tabs. They appear to cross reference game data such as reaction times, sleep times and click/movement patterns. Other than the obvious detection methods, such as drastic playtime changes and drastic gameplay changes on different clients it seems a lot of the bot detection is based off some similarity heuristic. I can't offer any conclusive proof so take it with a grain of salt, but from what information I've gathered on how bans work it seems logical that private scripts would be safer for two reasons:
